Short Biography

I am currently a Ph.D. candidate at School of Computer Science and Engineering, University of Electronic Science and Technology of China (UESTC), under the supervisor of Prof. Zenglin Xu.

Prior to that, I received my dual Bachelor's Degree both in Computer Science and Technology and Mathematics from Shanxi Normal University from 2011 and 2015. My current research interest lies in Bayesian deep learning, that is, combining Bayesian learning with deep learning for the sake of their respect and complementary strengths in the nonlinear representation learning and effective learning of model uncertainty and robustness. More specifically, the goal of my research is to provide a probabilistic interpretation of deep learning models by inferring the distribution of model weights and to improve the robustness of deep learning models in terms of adversarial attacks.
